The Faculty of Technological and Mathematical Education of Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav was created on September 1, 2020 through the reorganization of the Faculty of Science and Technology. Currently, the number of students is 559, of which 337 are studying full-time, and 222 part-time. Training of specialists at the faculty is conducted at two educational levels: I Bachelor’s and II Master’s.

The educational process at the faculty is provided by 18 departments of the university. 80% of them are teachers with academic degrees and titles. The FTME is equipped with the necessary multimedia and interactive classrooms, offices and laboratories, and modern information support for the educational process has been implemented.
On the basis of concluded agreements on the creation of educational and scientific complexes, the faculty cooperates with Volodymyr-Volyn Pedagogical College named after A. Krymskyi (Volyn region), Korostyshiv Pedagogical College named after A. Franko (Zhytomyr region), Prylutsk Pedagogical College named after A. Makarenko, Rzhyshchyv Vocational College of construction and economics, the communal institution of the Kyiv regional council “Rzhyshchiv Humanitarian Vocational College”, State vocational and technical educational institution “Volodarka Professional Agricultural Lyceum” of Kyiv region, the Boryspil Vocational Lyceum, the State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution “Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi Center of Vocational and Technical Education”, Skvirsk Higher Vocational School, Kaniv Higher Vocational School, State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution “Yagotyn Center of Vocational and Technical Education”. According to the agreement, graduates of these schools are enrolled for a shortened period of study.
Teachers and students of the faculty take an active part in research work in problem groups and scientific circles, join student scientific-practical conferences and round tables.
The faculty has a clear system of educational work, which provides for the organization of meaningful leisure time for students: sports sections, student choir, instrumental ensembles. The basic link of educational work at the faculty is the activity of curators. At the Faculty of Technological and Mathematical Education, direct supervision of educational work in groups is carried out by 12 curators appointed from among experienced teachers. The work of curators at the faculty is managed by the deputy dean for educational work.
The expansion of student self-government is important in the development of the faculty. In particular, FTME has a student council and a student dean’s office.
The scientific work of students is fruitfully represented by the Scientific Society of the faculty, as well as the involvement of young scientists in the activities of the Scientific Society of students, postgraduates, doctoral students and young scientists of the university, in all-Ukrainian and international conferences.
It is impossible to train students without acquiring practical work skills, the ability to independently plan and carry out scientific activities, and to solve assigned tasks. Therefore, the curriculum of the faculty provides the following practices.
